Levashovo is a joint-use airfield in the north of St. Petersburg whose civil part is being developed for business aviation and charter flights. Sobko Group prepared design and working documentation.
What we did
- Design documentation for internal and external networks.
- Working documentation for the small passenger terminal and technical buildings.
- TETRA radio system.
- Modernization of the airfield lighting control system.
Conditions
- Aviation infrastructure with high requirements for technical safety and digital compliance.
Result
A complete as-built BIM model and documentation package was delivered, improving the operational reliability of the airport complex.
Interesting facts
- In 2021, the Ministry of Defence and Gazprom signed a concession agreement to develop the civil part of the airfield.
- The project includes a passenger terminal for 250 passengers an hour for business aviation, charters and small cargo; scheduled flights stay at Pulkovo.
- The airfield reopened after reconstruction on 27 December 2022.
